The App stores all data exclusively on your device in a sandboxed environment. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it. Locally stored data includes:
Deleting the App from your device will permanently remove all locally stored data, including measurement history, audio recordings, and settings. This action is irreversible.
The App may request the following device permissions. Each permission is requested only when needed, and you may revoke any permission at any time through your device's Settings app.

Denying any optional permission will only disable the specific feature that requires it. Core noise measurement functionality requires only microphone access.
When background monitoring is enabled, the App continues to access the device microphone to measure ambient noise levels. This is used solely for real-time noise monitoring and alert delivery. No audio data is transmitted externally during background operation. You can disable background monitoring at any time in the App's settings.
The App provides tools to export measurement data in various formats (PDF reports, PNG images, CSV spreadsheets, WAV audio files). All export and sharing actions are initiated exclusively by you through the iOS share sheet. We have no access to exported data, and sharing is entirely under your control.
The App uses Apple's StoreKit 2 framework to process in-app purchases (PRO subscriptions and lifetime purchases). All payment transactions are handled directly by Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.
The App uses Apple's MapKit framework to display maps within measurement detail views. Map data requests are handled by Apple's servers and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive any data from these map requests.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect any personal information from any user, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.
All data is stored within the App's iOS sandbox, protected by the operating system's built-in security mechanisms including hardware encryption. Since we do not operate servers or collect data externally, there is no risk of server-side data breaches. The security of your data depends on the physical security of your device and your device passcode/biometric settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and will be made available within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
